The Elements

Houses are all about building strong community in schools. That idea of strength is what inspired Aja Alexander at her team at Austin Middle School when they picked their house names: The Elements.

Austin Middle School is located in Irving Independent School District outside of Dallas. According to Aja, “each element is strong in its own way.” This is just like every House is strong in its own way – and every student. Austin Middle School’s house system celebrates the unique culture of the school built by its students’ unique strengths.
