LiveSchool is growing! We are excited to introduce our latest addition to the team, Account Manager Gracie Kaul (and by extension her adorable dogs, Oscar and Taiga).
Gracie has always been passionate about improving the connection between students, teachers, and families. In her previous position with Metro Nashville Public Schools, she was a part of the Department of Family and Community Partnerships where she helped schools and teachers improve their family engagement practices. By focusing on creating a welcoming school culture, building relationships, partnering academically with families, and supporting parent voice, Gracie helped schools implement research-based family engagement initiatives.
But Gracie’s experiences extend beyond the central office. She’s a social worker by training and worked as a Special Education teacher at a middle school in the San Antonio Independent School District, giving her firsthand experience with the successes and challenges that teachers and school administrators face every day. The value of education runs deep in Gracie’s family. In fact, the first time she learned about LiveSchool, it was from her own mother, an art teacher who uses LiveSchool in her classroom everyday (shout out to Blue Ridge Early College)!
In Gracie’s own words, she’s developed a special appreciation for “the importance of building relationships, listening to what schools need, helping schools set goals, and employing research-based best practices.” We believe that in addition to her impressive career in family engagement, Gracie will be especially motivated to find solutions that make your day a little easier.
Gracie holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee (go Vols!) and a Master of Science in Social Work, Administration and Policy Practice from the University of Texas. She now lives in East Nashville, where she enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, and adventuring with her husband & pups. As an Account Manager for LiveSchool, Gracie will partner with you to ensure things are running seamlessly. If you have any issues or questions about the app, or are looking for best practices for engaging students and families, you know who to call! (Gracie might even be able to offer tips on meal planning, budgeting, or grooming a Husky).
We are so excited to welcome Gracie to the LiveSchool family, and we know she’ll be a wonderful partner for all of our school administrators and teachers. Please join us in extending a warm welcome!
